Our Favorites
Asheville features a deliciously eclectic array of restaurants serving a variety of cuisine, including Southern, Italian, Mediterranean, Thai, Vegetarian, Fusion of all kinds, and many others. Despite the type of fare, most restaurants strive to use as many local and organic ingredients as possible in order to prepare food that is fresh and distinct to our region. Because the selection can be overwhelming (in a good way), we'd like to provide you with a list of our favorites to get you started. Favorite Local Restaurants

Limone's
Limone's restaurant is favored by all here at the Princess Anne. Limone's is considered a Mexican/Californian restaurant, but the dishes are a bit more intriguing than just that. The menu changes often, serving everything from barbecue pork tacos to house-made ravioli stuffed with farmer's goat cheese, roasted corn, and organic sorrel. All the food is fresh, organic, and much of it is local. Every guest we've sent to Limone's has had nothing but good things to say about their dining experience. Limone's is located downtown on Eagle Street and the dress is casual.

The Market Place
If you're celebrating a special event, or if you prefer a less casual dining atmosphere, The Market Place is a great restaurant to visit. The chefs attend local markets at least twice a week to hand select the produce used in every dish on the menu. Out-of-town visitors have proclaimed The Market Place one of the finest dining experiences in the country, and loyal local fans say the restaurant sets the
region's standard for quality. Entrees include a good selection of fish and steak. The Market Place is located downtown on Wall Street, and the dress is dressy casual.

Early Girl Eatery & Tupelo Honey Cafe
Early Girl Eatery, located dowtown on Wall Street, is a great Southern-style family restaurant. Most of the food is organic, and the meat and breads come from local providers. The food is fresh and reasonably priced, and the portions are generous. Tupelo Honey, also located downtown on College Street, serves similar fare and is a great place for brunch or lunch. Both restaurants are very casual, and neither accepts reservations.

Bouchon
Bouchon specializes in serving classic French comfort food such as Le Brie en Croute Chaud, Le Poulet Roti au Thym, and Le Steak au Poivre. This is French food without pomp or frills but with all the taste. And the atmosphere matches the food: comfortable and casual. Bouchon is located downtown and is open Monday-Saturday for dinner.

The Corner Kitchen & Rezaz
Biltmore Village, located across from the Biltmore Estate, offers several unique restaurants, including The Corner Kitchen and Rezaz. The Corner Kitchen serves Southern food with a twist, and they offer outdoor seating when the weather's right. Entrees range from three-meat meatloaf served with sweet mustard glaze, collard greens, and cheddar grits, to pesto grilled swordfish served with gold zucchini. The Corner Kitchen is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch. The atmosphere is casual. Rezaz serves Mediterranean fare, including cuisine from North Africa, Italy, Spain, Morocco and the Middle East. Guests can be seated at chef's tables in the kitchen, which allows guests to get a behind-the-scenes look at how the kitchen works. The guests can also help the chef design the courses of the meal. Dress is dressy casual.
