Historic Hotel

The Princess Anne Hotel was once owned by the father of Johnny Mercer (writer of the classic melody "Moon River") and was built for Miss Anne O'Connell, a charismatic nurse for Dr. Van Ruck at a nearby tuberculosis sanitarium. The three-story, shingle-style hotel was completed in January 1924. The Princess Anne Hotel retains its original ambiance and charm with modern amenities.
